The Ghost Exterminator
Jo Banks may look like a Barbie doll in combat books, but she is a woman who sees ghosts and gets them to move on. Wyatt Haines has a problem with his new resort, it appears to be haunted and to hate him personally, and unfortunately he doesn't believe in ghosts. When the Commando Barbie Ghost Exterminator and the uptight and success driven business owner meet there is bound to be sparks, but not the kind they imagined. And when Wyatt insist on accompanying Jo into the house while she confronts the ghosts, he gets way more than he bargained for; he gets two mischievous ghost in his body haunting him!
This story is creative and humorous. Just the juxtaposition of the two main characters totally opposite personalities is a set up for fun and mischief but throw in ghosts and you have pandemonium. I love the character of Jo; she is funny, sexy, and determined to do her job despite whatever Wyatt thinks. I felt Wyatt has to kind of grow on the reader as he develops in the story. Jo starts out not making a very good impression on her client Wyatt by casting ghosts into him. That has certainly never happened to her before and she really has no idea what to do about it. And poor Wyatt, it is kind of difficult to continue to deny the existence of ghosts when they are in your body causing total havoc. And if that isn't enough to create chaos, Jo and Wyatt are extremely sexually attracted to one another, but they can only handle one problem at a time! If you love impossible match-ups and humorous situations, you will enjoy this whole series. The Ghost Exterminator is the second book about the unusual firm, Karmic Consultants, which specializes in ghostly problems. The first book is The Ghost Shrink, the Accidental Gigolo, & the Poltergeist Accountant. I can't wait to see what will happen in the next book, I'd like to read Karama's story! This series is fun and surely the "boss" has a story to tell.
