Hunter's Light is the latest in the Kindred Spirits series with Whiskers' Seaside Inn at the center. Owned by Cade and Ethan, the main characters of the first book in the series Ethan's Choice, the Inn attracts those interested in the paranormal because of it's rich and storied history of ghosts. But when David arrives and the ghosts are a no show he is directed to the Harbour Point Light, a lighthouse where there is an active spirit. A spirit isn't all that inhabits the lighthouse though, Hunter Pierce is the lighthouse keeper and he isn't too keen on David writing a story about his ghost or his lighthouse. Hunter likes his life, his peace, and his quiet and tourists looking for a supernatural thrill isn't something he wants disturbing his solitude.

Just like with Ethan's Choice co-authors Jude Mason and Jenna Byrnes have created a gripping sensual adventure that left me breathless. I started reading Hunter's Light with the intention of knocking out a few chapters before lying down for the day. But I quickly realized my mistake. I was unable to put the story down until I read the very last word. Then I breathed a sorrowful sigh, the book was finished, my pulse was slowing, and I was left with the ending of an awesome literary ride. I loved David and Hunter as much as I loved Ethan and Cade from the previous book, maybe even more. Something about their circumstances sucked me in and kept me riveted to their tale. I hope that there will be more stories set around Whiskers' Seaside Inn and that the authors will continue to feed this fangirl's cravings!
