Best Vacation that Never Was
Firefighter Jason Cooper is an adrenaline junkie. The rush and excitement of his job as well as outside activities fuel his lust for life and are food to his soul. A burning building brings him in contact with Troy Hastings, a victim of the fire. However, Troy is no one's victim. His ability to remain calm during the emergency drew Jason to him. The men will spend a week discovering hidden desires and spending time having the Best Vacation that Never Was.

Lynn Lorenz's ability to create captivating characters and plots never ceases to amaze me. Troy's situation is one some can relate to and most can honestly say is a deeply rooted fear. The loss of his home hit the man with the impact of a steam truck, but knowing he wasn't alone during his time of need gave him a foundation to stand on. I loved Troy the moment he decided to be that foundation. His giving spirit, regardless of where it might have initially stemmed from, made him appealing. Their interaction flows smoothly, even when some light BDSM is thrown into the mix. Best Vacation that Never Was has action, suspense, steamy sex, and a budding friendship awaiting your reading pleasure.
