The Cajun
Note: The Cajun originally appeared in the Summon the Masters anthology.
Thinking she could make it before the storm came, Rachel Thierry headed home for her father's birthday. But the tropical depression hit when she entered the nine mile marsh road which most parts weren't even above sea level. Then to make matters worse a huge alligator walked out of nowhere in front of her causing the car to slide off the road and hit a tree. Rachel grew up in the bayou and she knew how dangerous the elements from the storm could be so she set out to seek shelter at an old cabin a few miles down the road that she remembered from her childhood.
A very stubborn alligator sitting in the middle of the road forced Etienne Broussard to head back to his cabin instead of escaping the nasty storm in New Orleans. While traveling back home, Etienne spotted an abandoned car; yet, no matter how hard he looked, Etienne couldn't locate the driver. When Etienne arrived home after a very disappointing search, he was pleasantly surprised to find the driver asleep in front of his fireplace and it was none other than Rachel Thierry - the one woman that he had secretly desired for many years.
Whew! If you are a fan of Domination/Submission action, then you are in for a treat with Dominique Adair's The Cajun. The sexual foreplay that took place between Rachel and Etienne was so naughty that my mind was clouded with passion and lust. Etienne was all male. He knew just how to bring out and dominate Rachel's submissive side. While Rachel was the perfect sub in the bedroom, she was by no means timid in any other factor. She showcased strong will and determination as she fought the harsh elements of the tropical storm. Overall, I found this book to be fast-paced with stormy, sensual sexual play that took my breath away. If you're looking for a very erotic read then go pick up your copy of The Cajun.
