All I Want For Christmas Is You
When Robin's fiancé, Zach Carson, dies in an accident, she is left with an intense desire for his baby...or at least a Carson baby. With this goal in mind, she propositions Zach's older brother David to fill in; never realizing David has wanted her all along. David is floored by her suggestion, particularly when she makes it clear that she's not interested in any sort of artificial insemination.

He agrees to help out, yet is determined that Robin understand that he and Zach may have shared some genes, but they were completely different in most aspects... particularly in the bedroom where Zach was strictly vanilla, and David is anything but. He launches an offensive to gain Robin's heart, more than willing to use their sexual relationship to achieve his goal.

The question is: what will David's parents think when they discover that not only has he been sleeping with his dead brother's fiancée, but that he has got her pregnant to boot? And what will either of them do when the gig is up?

Brenna Lyon's story, All I want For Christmas Is You, is a sure win. It is deeply erotic, with enough electric sex scenes to light up the Carson Christmas tree. David is a definite- yet gentle- force to be reckoned with as he sets out to seduce Robin with every trick and toy he can lay his hands on. Robin is equally as strong willed in going for what she wants, she is just not as clear from the start what it is exactly she's after.

However, both have insecurities when it comes to knowing what the other is feeling. David is plagued with jealousy in regards to Robin's relationship with his brother, while she is hung up on David's reputation as a player. It is this internal conflict, expressed in their respective POV's which gives depth to these characters, and make each one so likeable. The external conflict provided by David's extended family adds a level of humor as they unwittingly both interfere with and aid their secretive affair. With All I Want For Christmas Brenna Lyons has penned a charming short story with more than enough heat to keep you warm on a cold winter's eve, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
