Luke finds out what it means to truly be alone when his friends desert him. He also finds out what it's like being different. He doesn't expect to see Cyrus, his lover, again because of those differences. When Cyrus shows up on his doorstep bloody and half dead, it comes as a big surprise. Now Luke doesn't know what to do. All he knows is the very thing that makes him different is the thing that just might save the love of his life.

Short but Sweet! This little gem of a story is a sure thing if you're looking for a quick romance. I've said this before about BA Tortuga's work but it bears repeating: she lends a very unique voice to everything she writes. A voice that makes the reader identify with each character. Luke and Cyrus are definitely no different. The story starts out with Luke craving something he thinks he can't have. This instant suspense only makes the reader want to read on that much more. My only complaint is that I wanted to know the back story. What brought Luke to the place he was in at the start of the short story? Come Back Home is intriguing and will grab your attention and not let go!
