A week before Christmas Mark showed up at Jesyca's home with the gift of a mysterious mirror. When she looks at the glass, Jesyca sees him in wedding garments and thinks the commitment phobe is out to trick her again. Afraid to give, and lose, her heart to him again, she refuses to believe in what she sees in the mirror. It's up to Mark to convince her that this time his vow of love is real.

It was amusing watching Jesyca's struggle to believe what she saw in the magic mirror as well as her inner conflict to believe in Mark, a man who'd previously caused her much heartbreak, to prove his love to her. Jesyca and Mark make a well-balanced couple,with Mark's dominance being just what Jesyca's feistiness needs. At first, it was a little unbelievable that this magical mirror was the only motivator sending Mark back to Jesyca, but after reading the efforts he made to show her how serious he was about being in her life, it was almost impossible not to fall a little in love with him. There's no doubt that their chemistry was off the charts, but it would have been nice to have them exercise a little more restraint and show us a bit more of the tension clearly evident between these two.

All in all, Reflecting Jesyca is a wonderfully enjoyable read; just what readers have come to expect from Reese Gabriel.
