Beguiled is the second novel in the Queen of the Underworld series by Maureen Child. If you haven't read Bedeviled then you will be lost. Beguiled picks up about where Bedeviled left off. Maggie is still struggling to accept her role as Queen, Culhane is still, well, HOT, and Mab is still evil. There were times that I wanted to tell Maggie to get a grip and let go of her trust issues involving Culhane. It was fine in the beginning but it drug on a bit too much for me. I did enjoy getting a deeper glimpse into the structure of the Otherworld and the changes that Maggie is bringing about. I hope that there are more books in the series, possibly with some of the secondary characters as the focus.
