On vacation in a tropical paradise, Adam unexpectedly meets the guy of his dreams. Adam can't seem to get Brett's hot body, or his boyish charm out of his head. He's flirting like there's no tomorrow, but Brett isn't responding. On their last night together Adam finally makes a bold move and discovers that there is so much more to the quiet, shy Brett than he ever imagined. For one steamy night, Brett becomes his in more ways than Adam dreamed possible.

Whew! This was a single shot of hot spicy vacation lovin'. Affair in Paradise may not be long on story, but it packs a serious punch. This little gem delves deep into the dynamics of the D/s relationship-much deeper than I would have expected out of a short story. It gives the reader a perfect snapshot of the subtle nuances of dominance and submission. I loved that it didn't read like a BDSM 101 manual, but included just enough information for the non-kinky reader to get the gist of what both Adam and Brett were experiencing. I have to hand it to the author, and I'll be on the look out for more work from Matthew Haldeman-Time.
