Meanwhile, Gem loves Kev Barak, but she is concerned he may have feelings for Erlinn. Erlinn's only concern is to rescue Jerod. But she isn't above enlisting Gem's help to start a revolution that may be the key to their happiness and freedom for their race.

Judging by the blurb, I was prepared to find an erotic science fiction story on the more serious side. What I found was a campy, but sizzling, sexual romp set among the stars. Amid the spicy and numerous sex scenes is a decent plot that allows the book to move forward at a steady pace. Love seems almost like an afterthought with all the action and sexcapades that make up the bulk of this fun story. Sci-fi and erotica fans alike are sure to enjoy Starbound.
