Attorney Mackenzie "Mac" Standfield has sworn off men after one breaks her heart. But even after five long years, rodeo star Luke Madaris could tempt the toughest woman to break her own rules. The chemistry between them is still alive and well, no matter how much Mac doesn't want it to be.

After a serious rodeo injury, Luke has only one place he can go-Mac's. In an effort to spare his overbearing family the stress and worry, he holes up at her place. After all, she's not any more interested in a romantic involvement than he is. At least that's what he thinks at first. A man can only ignore his desires for so long, especially being so close to someone who sets his blood to a boil.

The reluctant couple realizes that the only way they can put this scorching fire out, is to give in to it. What neither of them counted on was that fire blazing out of control and consuming them both.

Taste of Passion was hot, hot, hot. The tension alone was out of control sexy. I really loved that Luke was a rodeo star. I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up. Not only did the premise work with these characters, I can't imagine it any other way. I couldn't put it down once I got started and by the time I was finished, I wanted a Madaris man of my own!
