Em has wanted Rio, her brother's best friend, for a long time. In order to catch her man, she has become the much sought after masked lady at Rio's favorite club. She hopes that her plan to reveal her true identity will capture Rio, and not chase him away.

Watch Me Hide is the second book in the Purgatory series. This is a short novella, but it packs a powerful punch. Eliza Gayle doesn't mince words when it comes to setting up the scene and building tension. By the time the story got to Em's unveiling, I was on the edge of my seat, not only from my hopes that she gets her man, but also from the emotional roller coaster and sexual tension.

Because this is a short novella, the character and plot development is just enough to satisfy the reader's curiosity and give them enough information to understand the relationship between Rio and Em, as well as the basics of who they are and how they got to this point.

Eliza Gayle never fails to deliver memorable books which are well-written and captivating. She writes in a smooth flow, and sets a fast pace. Her characters are realistic, relatable and likeable, as are the scenes and the plot. I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
