Sex Therapy
Dr. Elena Bouchere is one of the country's foremost sex experts. In fact, she's known as the Queen of Sex. She's got her own radio show, a chain of adult toy stores and many published books to her name. So she's startled when she receives an email written in the form of an article, exposing her as a fraud. The worst part is it's true. She hasn't even had sex in more months than she can count, but how could this writer know this?

Agreeing to meet Julien Bond, the sexy report of a rag magazine, he confesses to having her diary, something she dropped on the ground when he last tried to get an interview with her. Insisting he only wrote the email to get her attention, he convinces her to allow him to fulfill the fantasies in her diary. They do just that over the course of a sultry weekend at an adult fetish resort, and one by one Elena's sexual bucket list comes true and her attraction to Julien only grows. But then, Elena's trust is betrayed and her blossoming romance is cut short. Will she go back to doling out sex advice from the comfort of her imagination?

Sex Therapy is a fun, sexy read with an interesting premise: a sex and kink therapist with little sexual experience, especially in the realm of kink. Elena is a highly successful woman who's ironically received her success on the coattails of sex, although she's had little time for sex as she's been building her career. She's listed as being a doctor although it's not quite clear what her education is.

Julien has wanted to interview Elena for months, hoping the success from her interview will rocket his own journalistic career, never anticipating the scoop that fell into his lap. Interestingly enough, he still has scruples and rather than run with the diary's contents, he'd rather meet her, and fulfill her fantasies. Perhaps I'm stereotyping, but an honest journalist, especially one that works for a less-than-savory magazine, is about as rare as an ethical attorney. I couldn't understand why he'd leave his ambitions behind for someone he doesn't know and hadn't really met. Perhaps the story needed to be a wee bit longer to flesh out the characters so that the reader is more successfully able to suspend disbelief. I was able to get over that stereotype once I felt I got to know Julien a little more, but with difficulties.

The chemistry is hot between the couple and their experiences were sultry. A fun story for those looking for sexy but brief reading entertainment.
