Faith West works as a children's librarian. Her job may be a bit boring but Faith never saw herself as boring until her fiancé, Alan ditched her at the altar. Alan texted Faith a message that consisted of "I want adventure and excitement, I don't want you." Faith has had enough and decides to seek some adventure of her own. She heads to Italy on her own honeymoon.

Caine Hunter works for King Investigations. King Investigations is the archenemy of West Investigations. Caine is sent to Italy to keep an eye on Faith. Caine does a really good job when he sleeps with Faith. When Faith discovers just who Caine is, she is mad and out for revenge.

Mad, Bad and Blonde is a chick lit novel that you and your girlfriends can share with a good glass of wine. I loved when every once in a while Faith would do something and ask "What would Jane Austen do?" Jane Austen was Faith's role model. Right from the very beginning Caine and Faith share an instant connection. Caine would try to get under Faith's skin. It was funny to read. I can't really say that blondes have more fun but I can say that Mad, Bad and Blonde is an enjoyable read. I can't wait to see what Cathie Linz comes out with next.
