Too Keen
When Keen agreed to go with his best friend Sandy to pick up her step brother, LJ, he thought he'd kill two birds with one stone. He'd support his friend while meeting her step-brother for the first time, and he'd introduce her to his identical twin brother, Kale. Neither Sandy nor Keen was expecting LJ to be an adult. Especially not a drop dead gorgeous adult, one that Keen found himself immediately attracted to, and luckily it appears to be an attraction LJ returns. But all attractions aren't created equal and both men seem to be a magnet for trouble, trouble that is working to keep them apart. Can they overcome the obstacles in their path and find their way to a future together?

Too Keen was filled with everything that I've come to expect from an AKM Miles story. Great, caring, characters, excellent dialog, steamy love scenes, and strong family bonds. There is always a lesson hidden in her stories yet they never come across as preachy in tone. Lance and Keen are nice, sweet (almost sickeningly so), and very handsome men who care about those around them. The fact that they worry more about others than themselves sometimes causes issues and that's part of their appeal. The nickname "chaos magnets" suits them to a tee and a more aptly named duo I have yet to meet. The developing love between the two was a joy to watch and the addition of Sandy and Kale and their little romance as well as the feisty Phoebe were welcome additions to this loveable cast of characters. Yet another winner from a great author!
