The Cop and the Drifter
Brad decides a night out in the woods should help him clear his head. His life as an officer may be ending, and he needs time to reflect on the decisions that lead up to this event. He didn't expect to encounter a drifter by the name of Davie.

Davie allowed his nose to guide him to the succulent smell of nourishment. He didn't anticipate the person at the camp site being an officer or so accommodating. As the night progresses the beginning of a friendship flourishes to life. Is that spark of interest enough for a possible romance between The Cop And The Drifter?

Christiane France's latest release brings an unlikely couple in Davie and Brad. The author allows the relationship to grow over time which makes the story and relationship believable. Davie's painful past hasn't dampened his spirit. In fact, it's given him strength and the ability to recognize dangerous situations. Brad's training allowed him to see Davie for the wounded soul he was, but also the fighter inside of him. The settings always create a bubble where I could focus on the budding relationship with little interference. Ms. France has created yet another fast-paced story. Those who enjoy those men in blue will The Cop and the Drifter.
