Ms. Guillone has written an incredibly riveting story that ensnares the reader from the very start. The thought of losing all of your memories is terrifying. Kenji somehow found a way to start a new life with little bit of help. Kenji's recurring dream kept him sane, but it must have scared him about what happened in the past. Jake's acceptance of Kenji when he had no idea of his past was wonderful. Even when he learned about Kenji's amnesia, he was determined to help him in spite of their uncertain future. It was inspiring to watch as other people willing to help Kenji and Jake, even if it put those other people in danger. The love between Kenji and Jake was beautiful to watch even when their future together looked to be different than what they wanted. If you enjoy a story with plot twists, strong characters who come to life for the reader, and a plot that is intriguing then this is one story that you won't want to miss.
