Genny's and Sean's friendship was purely platonic, even though they did share deeper feelings for one another. Genny's husband, Max, offered Sean a ménage with him and Genny, and Sean simply could not refuse. Beth Kery drew me into this erotic adventure on page one and held me there throughout the book. I was on edge the entire time, not only because I had to know what was happening in the present, but also because I wanted to understand what happened three years ago. Add in the overwhelming passion between Sean and Genny and I was left with a heart stopping, fast paced read I couldn't put down.

Genny is a sweet lady who has struggled to the top from her meager childhood. She is a special lady and carries herself well. She was so realistic, complete with her flaws. Had she communicated better with Sean three years ago, or when they meet up again, it would have saved her so much stress and heartbreak. I felt her emotions as if they were my own.

Sean is a tough guy, ex-military, and a dominant in the bedroom. His strongest weakness is Genny and it was touching to watch him struggle to maintain his control through such intense emotions and longing.

This book was full of suspense, and Beth Kery strategically placed revelations throughout the story, intermixed with Sean and Genny's passion and struggles to come to terms with their emotions, in a perfect combination to keep me on the edge of my seat.

The plot and characters in this book are very well written and developed. The romance is full of emotion and the sex is explosive and sometimes edges just a little on the dark side. I could go on and on, but really, the best thing I can tell you is to just read it! Release by Beth Kerry is a fantastic erotic suspense story that any erotic lover should love to devour.
