Andi steps in and performs the scene with David, and it ends with an explosive scene that rocks both David and Andi to the core. David follows Andi to her on scene trailer and in the end he can't keep his hands off of her. Maggie nags Andi until she tells her everything that happened between them. Andi can't understand why such an incredible and famous man would be interested in her. David has an undeniable need to be with Andi and when he meets her son Jake he quickly loves them both. Things begin to unravel when Lawrence returns making demands on Andi reawakening her old wounds. Can David and Andi's love withstand all the obstacles in their way?

Ms. Delaney has written an inspiring story that holds the reader spellbound from the start. Lawrence is a very conniving and self-centered man who will do everything to get what he thinks is owed to him. I felt terrible about what Andi went through with Lawrence, and was proud as she learned how to stand up for herself and her son. It was wonderful watching as David changed and grew into a man willing to take on the responsibility of a ready made family. Watching David and Jake play games as they bonded was incredible. Maggie is a unique mixture of a loving and abrasive individual who was there for Andi and Jake. The blossoming love between David and Andi fulfills anyone's love for romance with a capital R.
