Secret McQueen finds herself sitting behind a desk, wishing that she were out on a hunt for monsters, instead since being on the Tribunal council. She's trying to change her ways and deal with all the new powers she has acquired, but finding it very hard.

Holden, her bodyguard, has asked her to help locate a missing girl. The investigation leads Secret to her scumbag ex-boyfriend, Gabriel, which left her a note on the fridge and moved out while she'd been asleep. He's been arrested for murdering several young coeds that were killed at the same time the girl she is looking for came up missing. On further investigation, she finds that they all tie together somehow.

Then there is Lucas Rain, the King of the East Coast werewolves, and his second-in-command, Desmond. Lucas and Secret are bonded, but she loves Desmond. Things are starting to heat up in this love triangle, especially when you add in Holden, who Secret also feels a connection to that she'd like to investigate further.

As always, Sierra Dean has done it again. She's managed to write a book that offers it all, a very hot love triangle, lots of action and a good story line. This is the Secret McQueen Book 3 and I can't wait to see what's next. Will Secret follow through on finding out just what Holden has to offer, or will she make the decision between Lucas and Desmond? I know that whatever Ms. Dean has in mind for Secret will prove to be steamy hot and very exciting!
