Eros, the god of love and lust was perplexed as to why his magic wasn't affecting the humans anymore. Something was amiss and he was determined to find out what was going on. Eros' job was to spread love and lust, to keep the earth alive and humans mating. So, when things became unbalanced, he had to fix it. He chose fated couples and traveled to earth the personally oversee their connections. He soon realized that other unworldly factions were at work.

Erebus, a god from the Underworld, and Eros' father, was sneakily destroying all the couples Eros brought together. It was his intention to let Earth die and go into Darkness, where he had dominion over. He had used several unsuspecting gods to help him in this plan. The fate of the world soon came down to a battle of life and death. Eros and gods from Olympia battled against his father and Chaos from the Underworld.

This story demonstrates that sometimes opening your heart to love can be scary and sometimes it may take a while to happen. There may be forces at work trying to block love from occurring, but we must fight to give love a chance to grow. A heart without love will soon lose its soul, grow cold and die. Life without love would surely be very dismal. Although life can be sustained on lust, it just wouldn't be the same. We need bonding and to feel that we are wanted.
