Holiday Hell
Sheridan Lewis has had nothing but rotten luck during the Christmas season for as long as she can remember. From childhood to adulthood, all the tragedies in her life seem to have happened around Christmas. While everyone is Tis-ing the season to be jolly, all she wants to do is hibernate in her apartment with junk food and alcohol while waiting for the New Year. Her response to Christmas, Bah-hum-bug!

This year, Mr. McGuire, the owner of the company where she works, has other plans for Sheridan. She and Brady McGuire, his grandson, must spend the week before Christmas on a tropical island, convincing a major client to renew their contract with the company. Neither is happy about the trip because they are sworn enemies but they are both committed to their jobs. Can they get through the week without killing each other? Will the tropical breeze blow away hostile feelings to reveal true emotions?

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I enjoy the excitement, the merriment in the air and the goodwill towards others that it brings. I enjoyed Holiday Hell because the heroine fought so hard to dislike Christmas but in the end, she was reminded of how Christmas really should be. Christmas is about giving love and being loved. It's about family and friends.
