Abigail Clark is in a mid-life rut. She is a divorced mother of two and a kindergarten teacher. Her life has revolved around children, at work and at home. When a girlfriend surprises her with a girl's getaway to New Orleans to get her groove back, she is skeptical and paranoid. Although Abigail's body craves a man's touch, her mind has blocked the urges and built a wall around her.

Danny is young, carefree and hot as the desert sun. He has his eye on Abigail and is not letting go. He senses the apprehension in her but he can also see the passion behind her eyes. He wants to give her all the pleasure she has missed over the years and break her out of her self-imposed prison. Abigail has masked her desires for so long, is she ready to come play in the adult world again?

The heroine in this story represents what so many women are facing right now. After kids and/or divorce many women fall into a rut of "I don't have time for love, I have to raise my kids". Although, our children are a major part of our lives, we have to live for ourselves also. Having someone to love doesn't lessen our love for our children. I enjoyed this story and the victory of the heroine getting her life back.
