Zora Austin always attends the Renaissance Festival and this year's festival was as nice as it'd been in the past. She enjoys the food, the rides and the arts and crafts. She had no intentions of purchasing anything but couldn't resist the lure of the stand selling crystal. Zora adored crystal and a recent house fire had destroyed her collection. One crystal in particular stayed on her mind all day and she just couldn't leave without owning it.

Thedan, the Barbarian has waited seven hundred years for his prophesized bride to set him free. When they meet there is an instant attraction and pull that neither one of them can explain or deny. After spending seven days with Zora, having the most sensual, unabashed lovemaking imaginable, he knows she is his destiny. But, will this Christmas Eve fulfill the curse that trapped Thedan in the crystal and fulfill a lifetime dream of Zora's?

The Bride and the Barbarian is a story of faith and believing in your mate. It demonstrates that although love is what brings couples together, it is having faith and trust in things we can't see that keeps us together. It is a mystical romance story that any romantic would enjoy reading. The characters complimented each other beautifully. Although this is a short story, the storyline is fully developed and revealed.
