To Have and To Hold
Christian Cooper is an entrepreneur trying to build his business, spending his every waken moment going after prospective contracts or managing currents projects. While Christian is busy with business, his wife Andrea is busy feeling neglected and rejected. When a project takes them back to their hometown, Andrea may have found just the "wrong" distraction to make her forget what she's been missing at home.

Raymond Reyes' appearance makes Andrea very nervous. He was her first love, her first sexual experience and her first heartbreak. Seeing him again brings back feelings she thought were long resolved. When Raymond suggests they resume their past relationship, Andrea must decline, being a married woman now. But, will Raymond accept being just a friend? Will the meddling of nosey women in the small town church make her husband realize that his marriage needs rebuilding more than their church?

As couples grow older and become empty nesters, their interests seem to change. Sometimes they grow closer and become second-time honeymooners. Sometimes couples go in separate directions, other times in the same direction, but on opposite sides of the street. This is demonstrated in To Have and To Hold. The couple is reminded of the love they've nurtured over the years and rely on that love to bring them back together.
