Legally Hot is a three story, romantic suspense anthology that is sure to keep the pages turning and the reader in need of a cool drink and even cooler breeze.

The first story is Lora Leigh's Sheila's Passion. Nick Casey's career as a secret special operations soldier ended when an extraction went bad, leaving him with injuries that prevented him from enduring long hikes and slowed his reaction time. For the last five years, Nick has been in Simsburg, Texas working security for Ethan Cooper at The Broken Bar and gathering information for the Covert Information Network. Gathering the important information used to bring down terrorists gives Nick the adrenaline rush he needs, but the nights spent with Sheila soothes the restlessness in him while making him wish for things that can never be.

Sheila has had her heart broken in the past and is now guarding it fiercely with Nick but when trouble comes their way will it convince them to take a chance on love?

Sheila's Passion is a sexy, sassy, enjoyable tale. This short story is the second in author Lora Leigh's Wounded Warrior series. The first, Cooper's Fall was in the Real Men Last All Night anthology. With this story being short, readers don't get much of a chance to connect with the characters. The time that Nick and Sheila spend together is spent in some sort of sexual act, which is sizzling hot but it left this reader wishing for more of an emotional bond between them. Overall, I did enjoy Sheila's Passion and thought that it provided a steamy start to this anthology.

The second story is Deadly Dance by Cheyenne McCray. After breaking things off with his girlfriend Nyx Ciar, Detective Adam Boyd is trying to get his life back to normal. When he learns that the man responsible for the brutal attack on ballerina Keri Holliday, and who killed his previous partner is being released from prison, Adam knows he must inform Keri since her testimony against the man is what landed him behind bars. When Adam gives Keri the news about her attacker's release, he feels a strong attraction to her and takes a big chance by asking her out. Keri agrees to go out with Adam, but before their budding relationship can start to grow, it's put in jeopardy by the recently released murderer looking for revenge.

Deadly Dance is a flowing, exciting tale featuring Detective Adam Boyd from Cheyenne McCray's Night Tracker series. Adam and Keri make such a sweet, charming couple that you can't help but love them. Adam is a strong, tenacious character that has seen the worst that human nature is capable of and Keri seems to be the balm for his troubled soul. Her strength and determination is rivaled by her gentle, innocent nature, giving their relationship a magnetic, heartwarming feeling.

The last story in this anthology is Caught by Red Garnier. Cody Nordstrom had been childhood friends with Megan Banks. That friendship soon turned to teenage lust that ended the day that Cody and his twin brother Ivan's parents were murdered. When Ivan confessed to Cody that he was the one who killed their parents, Cody was stunned, but never said a word. He protected his brother out of guilt from the way their parents always challenged the younger Ivan to live up to his brother's accomplishments, often pitting them against one another. After their parent's deaths, both boys went into foster care. After foster care, Cody became a homicide detective and finally easing some of his guilt by putting his brother behind bars. Years later, when Cody runs into Megan again, he still feels a strong attraction to her and only wishes that he was good enough for her. Not willing to take no for an answer, Megan pushes Cody to see what they could have together and as he's starting to see things through a different light, they learn that Ivan is out of jail and seeking revenge.

Caught is a chilling, gripping tale of family, love, loss and deception. Red Garnier easily seizes the reader's attention from the first page and holds it in her tight, enthralling grip until the very last page.

Legally Hot is sure to please readers with its three, steaming hot stories that keep the thread of law enforcement and authority figures throughout each tale. I liked each and every story in this anthology and believe that readers will easily find this book well worth the price. 4 Angels!
