Beast
Faery 2

Dante Dellacourt is no stranger to scandal, but after his latest dating debacle is viewed by the entire vampire world, he's finally gone too far. Faced with the ultimatum of finding a consort or being disinherited, Dante finally admits defeat and decides to put his playboy days behind him. Feeling like he's been consigned to a miserable fate, it never occurs to Dante that a consort will change his life in the best possible way, but from the moment he lays eyes on Kaja, Dante knows he couldn't have been more wrong. He is captivated by her feral beauty and wants her like he's never wanted another. Try as he might to keep an emotional distance, Dante knows he's fighting a losing battle. But, Kaja is untamed, undisciplined and completely innocent of the ways of his world. The more he tries to help her fit in, the more he realizes she can't. Suddenly, the future he thought he wanted is not so bright and he must decide what's more important- money or love.

Being exiled by her werewolf pack was bad, but waking up in a cage, in a world she doesn't understand is terrifying. Faced with an uncertain future, Kaja fights back with everything she has. When the vampire, Dante, purchases her for his consort, Kaja finds herself with the kind of alpha she never expected- patient, courteous and kind. Dante awakens feelings in Kaja she never knew existed and in no time at all, Kaja is in love. But, Dante's world is nothing like the world Kaja came from and trying to adapt is crushing her spirit. Is her love for Dante enough to keep her going or has she been consigned to another kind of exile?

Simply put, Sophie Oak is magic. I already knew she could rock contemporary romance, but I've discovered she is every bit as strong in the fantasy genre. Her Faery world is unique and enchanting, and I found myself completely captivated by it. It's magical and breathtaking, passionate and tantalizing, with glimpses into different parts and characters that are guaranteed to intrigue.

Dante was the kind of alpha male that will make readers swoon. His passion for Kaja was undeniable and his need to care for her was sexy as all get out. Kaja was the kind of heroine readers will cheer for. Her adaptation to an alien world showed strength that you can't help but admire and, despite all she had been through, she never lost her caring heart. The passion between her and Dante was enough to make the blood run hot and the emotional connection grabs you right in the heart. Romantic, enthralling and searingly sexy, Beast is sure to set readers on fire and leave them begging for more.
