Storm's Heart
Elder Races 2

Tiago Black Eagle has been around for time untold. He has seen the rise and fall of civilizations and been worshipped as a storm god, but for centuries now he has been a sentinel and head of the Wyr army. When Niniane, heir to the Dark Fae throne, goes missing, Tiago is tasked with finding her and keeping her safe. Not all of the experience in the world could have prepared Tiago for the sparks that fly when the two of them come together. As Tiago fights off those who would keep her from the throne, he also fights his own battle against his feelings for the fairy princess. The question is; does he really want to?

After two hundred years of hiding from her uncle, the Dark Fae king and man who murdered her family, Niniane is free. Her uncle is dead and she is set to become queen. At least, that was the way it was supposed to be. But, there are some who don't want to see Niniane take the throne and they will stop at nothing to keep her from it. Enter Tiago, her Wyr ally and the man charged with keeping her safe. The problem is nothing about Tiago is safe. He's positively feral, however, that doesn't stop her from wanting him or keep her from falling for him. Niniane trusts Tiago with her life, but can she trust him with her heart?

Thea Harrison has impressed me. In the increasingly popular genre of Urban Fantasy, she has managed to create a completely unique world that can only come from a big imagination. Storm's Heart is a fast paced and captivating story that is sure to keep readers intrigued until the very end. It is a blending of magic and the modern world that is certain to enchant.

If you like alpha heroes, you are sure to love Tiago. He is dark, delicious, and stunningly sexy. Niniane was a spitfire heroine whose strength in the face of an uncertain future is sure to impress readers, completely opposite Tiago, but so right for him. Their passion is palpable and is sure to leave readers panting for more. Filled with action, intrigue and sizzling hot sex, Storm's Heart is big fun and a great read.
