Tank's Tweak
Tank's Tweak by Lynne Hagen and Stormy Glenn is the fifth book in the Lady Blue Crew series.

Tank is fighting for control of the Lady Blue with his mate Zachary at his side when it's pulled into an uncharted wormhole. Zachary is injured, needing help from their resident doctor, Imlay before they realize that there fuel cells are almost empty. Things between Tank and Zachary, or Tweak as he's called, are strained because for some unknown reason Tweak won't let Tank claim him. Tweak explains that on his world they have a formal ritual to truly bond before they can mate. Tank will do anything for Tweak but it isn't going to be easy to control his feelings. After a mishap on a planet whose inhabitants are determined to capture them, they crash land on what they soon learn is ancient Earth, where they hope to repair their ship and find fuel. While in search of fuel, they run into a new friend, Mo, who claims to be a computer genius. But can anyone form such a backward culture help them? Will Tank find a way back to the future so he can claim his mate? Can the Lady Blue survive the trials ahead?

Tank's Tweak is a fast-paced, action-filled story that held me riveted from the start. There is much scientific discussion about what would happen if someone encountered a wormhole and it was fascinating to experience it as the crew lived through the harrowing event. Tank couldn't understand why Tweak wouldn't allow him to claim him, but once he understood, it was wonderful to see how he was willing to move heaven and earth to please his man. It was funny how Tweak's mother was just as unusual and fierce as Tank described her, keeping Tank on his best behavior. Tweak's love for his mother was as beautiful and strong as hers was for him. I can't imagine how I would react if I stumbled upon a craft from the future, but Mo seemed to adapt without problems. There is never a dull moment in the lives of the Lady Blue Crew.
