Adwaka's Blade by Stormy Glenn and Lynn Hagen is the forth book in the Lady Blue Crew series.

Adwaka was brought to the Lady Blue when he was found injured with Livewire, a member of the crew. When he came to, he noticed Blade by his side and instantly knew that Blade was his mate. Ever since he woke, he's clung to Blade and then Blade is sent on a mission. Adwaka is more than just frightened for Blade; he is terrified to be separated from him. After Blade leaves, Adwaka manages to keep it together until he wakes up and flips out, needing to be sedated when he realized that Blade hadn't returned. What no one understands is that the mating bond for an Orillian, like Adwaka, begins when he meets his mate and the longer he remains unclaimed, the sicker he becomes. Adwaka doesn't think that Blade wants him, so he tries everything he can to get along with him. The only problem is that Blade is quietly going out of his mind wanting Adwaka, but he thinks it is too soon after his injuries to claim him. Things are getting more out of control for the Lady Blue Crew as their unknown adversaries get closer. Will Blade and Adwaka find their way together before it is too late?

The members of the Lady Blue Crew each have unique and distinctive personalities that never fail to surprise the reader. It's hysterical how the mates, led by the commander's mate Gigi, always band together to enliven the Crew's lives. I find it fascinating when they somehow always get themselves into situations that will frighten the crew to death. It's interesting to read about new worlds and experiencing their cultures as the story unfolds. The feel of being in outer space is one that most people will never know, but through their eyes, it comes alive for me. The love between each of the mates and the crew is beautiful and I hope that the unmated crew will soon have their own mate to love and protect.
