When Stephanie Snow was brutally murdered, the San Marcos police department is looking at her ex-boyfriend Joshua Bender as the main suspect. Rookie detective Allison Doyle doesn't think that Joshua is behind the murder and believes there's more going on. Mark believe Stephanie Snow's case is connected to the case of a serial killer that's killed five women that they know of and who's killing again after a decade of inactivity and if he's right, there's only days before the killer strikes again.

Twisted is the fifth book in the Tracers series from author Laura Griffin. This story is a gritty, pulse-pounding adventure that will keep you glued to the pages from start to finish. Mark and Allison have a smoldering attraction between them that continues to grow throughout the book. The suspense is kept at a tense, edgy pace that keeps a sense of urgency in the forefront, leaving you unable to put the book down.

Lovers of romantic suspense and the Tracers series alike are sure to relish every moment of this fascinating story. Even though this book is the fifth in the series, I feel that readers picking it up for the first time without having read the previous books will still be able to enjoy the story.
