A Zane Po' Boy
A Zane Po' Boy by Joyee Flynn is the third book in The O'Hagen Way series.

Brian and Banning O'Hagen have been waiting centuries for their mate, so when they first see Zane they immediately grab him to stake their claim. Unfortunately, Zane isn't ready to get down and dirty, so when he asks for breathing room they assume he doesn't want them to be his mates and they storm away refusing to listen to him. Zane definitely wants the twins, but he needs time to adjust to not only having a mate, but having two of them. Months later, Zane's friend Isaac and his mate Rory arrive to inform the twins that Zane is out of control, taking every mission possible fighting demons, almost getting himself killed over what they put him through. Isaac doesn't hold back leaving Brian and Banning ashamed and determined to do whatever they can to heal their mate, even if that means they lose him. Can Brain and Banning find a way to repair the damage they caused to their mate? Will their love be restored?

Brian and Banning are hot tempered men that sometimes let their emotions get out of control, like the way they reacted to Zane. Zane must have felt overwhelmed and outnumbered when they grabbed him, expecting him to immediately respond to them. I was heartbroken when Brian and Banning first saw Zane months later, so run down and injured, but their desire to help him any way they could was sincere. The love between Banning, Brian and Zane was wonderful to experience as it unfolded. The many paranormal aspects in the story add depth and surprise to the plot. It is fascinating how Ms. Flynn is intertwining three of her series, taking characters from earlier books and continuing their lives as the series goes on.
