The Devil's back and better than ever. He finally has a chance to get what he wants and he wants Diana. He had to give her up four long years ago and this time it wasn't going to happen. Charlotte isn't around now and can't blackmail him or ruin Diana's reputation.

Diana fell in love with Lord DeVere at first sight although she wouldn't admit it to herself. Now he's back and she's determined to keep her distance, but that is easier said than done. She finds herself involved in another race, but this time the stakes might be more than she is capable of giving because this time it's her heart and she knows she won't survive it this time.

DeVere is not the marrying kind and has never committed to anyone, much less thought about marriage. He knows Dianna needs someone that can provide her with what she needs and he isn't that man, but he can't think about her with anyone else. Can Diana accept what DeVere has to offer or should she leave now while she still can, if DeVere will let her to go?

As I've said before, the best is always worth the wait and this was by far the best book in this series. I read the whole series waiting for DeVere to get what he finally deserved. This was a fantastic book to read. It was witty and fun and of course, there are the sensual moments you won't want to miss. This was a great book and i want to see what Victoria comes up with next. If it's anything like this series, I would be honored to read it.
