After Elizabeth had awakened Saloman, she discovered she was in love with him. Not wanting him to believe she was one of those needy women, she kept her own life separate but has been finding it harder and harder not to be a part of his life.

Elizabeth has been offered a job in Budapest and has decided to take it to be closer to Saloman but doesn't know how he will react to her being in his city. Before she arrives, there is an uprising of the vampires and he is called away. Now Elizabeth is pulled between becoming a vampire hunter and standing with Saloman.

Saloman has come into power. His worst enemy Luk has been found. He's been awakened and there can only be a battle for power, Luk is insane. That's the reason he was put down in the first place. Will Saloman and Elizabeth's love be strong enough to withstand the coming battle, or will they even survive long enough to find out?

This is the third book in the Awakened by Blood series by Marie Treanor and I can't help but look forward to the next book. I don't know if this is the last of this series, but whatever she comes up with next has to be good if it's going to top this one. I recommend this book to anyone who loves to read as it was very hard to put down.
