Slayer's Kiss
Kara and Abbey are out every night to make the streets safe for woman. They know all about the bad people and other things that are on the prowl in the early morning hours just before dawn, and their aim is to put an end to as much crime as they can.
Kara is the manager of an apartment complex, which allows her to be free at night to work the streets with Abbey.
All of Kara's life was spent with her being sent from one foster home to another and not knowing anything about her real family. She was drawn to Abbey because she was a witch and Kara thought she was too, although she could never get a spell right.
Kara leased the place next door to Gavin and Julian, two of the hottest men she had ever seen. When she was around them she couldn't think about anything but getting into their pants, but they had other ideas. Gavin and Julian were fallen angles sent to guard Kara for her father. Kara was one of the very few women of their species left and has to be protected. Of course, Kara doesn't feel like she needs protecting since she's been taking care of herself her whole life.
I found Slayer's Kiss to be very easy reading. Gavin and Julian found it to be just as hard to keep their hands off Kara, as Kara did with them. It's funny, heartwarming and has some very erotic sex. It catches your attention and keeps it throughout the book. It shows that you can have unknown origins and still do the right thing in bad situations, especially when friends are involved.
