For Kicks
Easy Breezy is what they used to call her and this is what Breeze Cohen doesn't want a repeat of happening in her career. As a teenager, it was okay to dwell on it, but as woman, working in marketing, where men outnumber women, it's not an option. Breeze is determined to make her life a success even if it means putting her love life on hold. The thing is, this next big assignment has the owner paying attention to her, something she doesn't have time to handle right now. Logan Chandler is a man tempting her to be bad, and for once in her life to relax. These are two things she's put on the back burner for her to succeed in the marketing department. Can she handle being in love with Logan and the possibility of being the youngest to get her own store to manage? Or, will Logan's love destroy her career and life?

Logan Chandler is a man who thrives on living life to the fullest. He knows when someone needs to just chill and relax and that's Breeze Cohen. Nitrous, his biggest sponsor ever, needs a woman like Breeze in their department, but so does he. Logan has never felt so conflicted in his life, yet, something about Breeze stirs something inside him. Everybody around him says he needs to go slow with her, but Logan knows that she's the woman for him in every way. Working with her, he sees vulnerability, but also the willpower to succeed in her career. He knows it's wrong to woo her right now, but when he sees something he wants, he'll fight to get it. Can he convince Breeze that she's more important to him than his own career?

There is a reason why I love to read books by Jenna Bayley-Burke and this book is why, for it showcases this author's talent and imagination quite well. I loved that Breeze was a woman who wanted one thing, to succeed at her job. Working in a career where men dominate is not a usual career choice, but for Breeze, it's something worth working for. Now Logan definitely has his work cut out for him since Breeze is not a damsel in distress. For Kicks certainly had tons of laughter in the way of how Logan got Breeze to relax, but also, we seen a man trying to care for his woman. Together these two were great to read about and once again, Jenna Bayley-Burke did a beautiful job in showing us that even a strong woman deserves a man to love her.
