Home at Last Chance is book two of the Last Chance series that includes book one, Welcome to Last Chance, and book three, The Last Chance Beauty Queen. An additional book is planned as well, entitled Last Chance Christmas.

Sarah Murray is a college graduate, a preacher's daughter and an aspiring businesswoman. She's been sent by her company to take charge of a bad-boy NASCAR driver, and to find a way to spin his antics into something positive. What she doesn't count on is that he's smoking hot, he's afraid of flying and hopping mad that her idea got his car painted pink and sponsored by a baby diaper company. All of this is much more than problematic to a man who'd just rather win some races and do his uncle proud. Will Tulane reform his bad boy ways or will he use his talents, both on the track and off, to do some good for a change?

Home at Last Chance is a charming and heartwarming tale of two opposites attracting. Tulane is a bad boy with the potential to be a good man. He's learning the hard way that fame doesn't solve all of your problems; in fact, sometimes it creates new ones. Sarah shines as a Boston-bred Harvard grad with big ideas that get her in hot water with her slimy, concept-stealing coworker and dragon-lady boss, but she has something special in her, genuine goodness. Secondary characters are quite colorful, and as such, sometimes threatened to derail the main story, but the author seemed to manage to tie up her loose ends and bring this one smoothly to the finish line.
