Marine Captain Garrick "Paladin" Stark is the youngest of the three Stark boys, all military pilots. While stationed in Japan, he has an eight-month sexual affair, which ends suddenly while he is deployed. When he is reassigned stateside in Florida, he learns that his past lover is also working out of the same base and the possessive, cockiness trait of the Stark family men kick into gear. Garrick sets out to not only find her, but also to show her that what they had is real and he's not ready for it to end.

Delaney thinks she has moved on with her life. But, when she sees Garrick, she can't deny him. Just the thought of him creates a raging fire inside her. She admits to him that although the sex between them was great, she is looking for more than sex and recommends he move on to the marine groupies. Garrick flashes red with anger; he knows that he must show her just how much he loves her, outside of the bedroom. Do either of them have the will power to enter into a courtship without ending up in bed?

Born to Fly: You Save Me is yet another love story in the Born to Fly series about the alpha-male Stark brothers. I really enjoyed this story because there is nothing like an aggressive man to make a woman feel safe and loved. The alpha male is a turn on and the hero in this story is a definite example. The heroine is to be applauded for standing her ground and demanding that she be properly courted. Her stubbornness complimented his take-charge attitude.
