Missi has always been the person her family turned to whenever they were in trouble or had problems. She was referred to as the backbone for family and friends, but she was treated like a stepchild. After years of abuse from her sisters, she is ready to stand up for herself, take charge. After a disastrous double date with her sister, she finds herself in Cafe Midnight. Missi is in search of a dark, exotic and spicy experience, something new and adventurous.

Nicolau is just what Missi ordered, being from the region of Timor, he was dark, exotic and mysterious. After tasting the delicious and smooth flavor of Nicolau, he convinces her to take him home with her. He gives her a steamy and exotic adventure that she will never forget. He builds her confidence with every lick, stroke and touch he makes. Missi is turning over a new leaf in her life and stopping how others use her is her top priority.

I enjoyed this story because I was in a situation similar to the heroine. We all love our family, but they will stretch your kindness to its limit sometimes. You can give them an inch and they will take a yard, just selfish. The heroine needed the self-confidence boost that the hero gave. The sexual encounters are hot and steamy. I don't drink coffee because it puts me to sleep, but I may need to try a good cup of Joe, just for the experience.
