Sydney has the perfect plan all hatched up to get her friend, Emma, laid this weekend and out of her rut. Emma is an old college friend who lost her husband five years ago and hasn't dated since. Now she just has to talk her boyfriend Logan into helping her get Emma and his older brother Jack together. When Emma arrives at her place, little does she know that her friend has a wild weekend of adventure planned for her. But, everything hinders on her accepting Sydney's double dare.

When the girls come upon Logan and Jack in the woods having lunch, Sydney's plan is put into motion. Emma and Jack seem to hit it off just fine without her accepting the dare. When the guys arrive for dinner, a mix-up unravels Sydney's plan. Emma and Jack are mad, but they spend a romantic, sex-filled night together and fall asleep in each other's arms. Emma is later torn between the feelings that Jack has awakened in her and her commitment to her sons. Can she get pass the guilt and betrayal she feels, giving herself a chance at happiness with Jack?

Starting over is a part of life with divorces happening daily. Some people wait years to start dating again due to many reasons, such as time, interests and a sense of betrayal; this is demonstrated in this story. Although we can sometimes convince our mind that we don't need the affection of a partner, our hearts know different. Getting back into the dating scene can be scary and a bit daunting but we all need and deserve to love and be loved.
