Nightshine
When psychic, Samuel Taske gets a vision of paramedic Charlie Marena facing serious danger while out on a call, he arrives at the place where he seen the danger, the Golden Gate Bridge and waits for her to show up. What Samuel didn't see was that he would also be in danger. Samuel and Charlie survive the sniper at the bridge but don't get away unscathed as they are knocked out cold and kidnapped from the scene, later awakening to find themselves on a private tropical island where secrets and mistrust abounds.

Nightshine is the fourth book in author Lynn Viehl's Kyndred series. I recommend that readers read these stories in order and not as standalones as there's a lot of story arc's happening in each book so it's easy to feel left behind if you miss a release. With that said, I really enjoyed this latest release in the Kyndred series. This story gets off to a really good start, but then seems to lag a little in the middle, which is why I'm giving it four Angels instead of five. It picks back up for the ending and ties up nicely with plenty of depth and layers throughout. The remarkable characters and plot twists and turns make for a not to be missed story. I'll be eagerly waiting to see what Lynn Viehl has in store next. 4 Angels!
