After suffering a week of torture at the hands of a Mexican drug cartel, Chief Deputy US Marshal Zach McBride is resigned to his fate and his death. It's only when he hears the voice of a kidnapped woman sharing his prison that Zach is able to muster the strength to attempt an escape. However, escape from their Mexican prison is only the beginning of their challenges. Looking for a change of pace, journalist Natalie Benoit has accepted an assignment investigating the violence in the Mexican border town of Ciudad Juarez; however, she could never have anticipated the danger her boredom would lead her to. When she is kidnapped by a cartel, Natalie is expecting the worst, but hope is reignited in the form of a fellow captive. Zach may be a man of violence, but he's also her best hope of escape and Natalie puts her safety in his hands in the hopes that Zach can get her safely home. Natalie may not trust Zach, but that doesn't stop her from wanting him and in no time at all, her heart is all in. The question is, is she falling for a hero or a villain?

Wow, just wow! Pamela Clare's I-Team series rocks! Breaking Point had all the elements I love in a book. It was a fast-paced story of high stakes danger and high impact passion that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Zach was the kind of sexy bad boy that's guaranteed to make you melt. He was tortured, flawed, and insanely hot. Natalie was the kind of kick butt heroine that readers love. She was a warrior woman who didn't flinch and she didn't give up. She wasn't afraid to put her heart on the line or to go after what she wanted and I applaud her for that. The chemistry between she and Zach was red hot and the sex was off the charts. Seriously, those two could burn the ink right off the page.

Breaking Point was full of action and intrigue, taking off at a run and not letting up until the fantastic conclusion. It was an adrenaline filled, sexy adventure and I loved every minute. I am eagerly anticipating the next I-Team book!
