Inflaming Inno
Inflaming Inno by Amber Kell is the ninth book in the Moon Pack series.

Inno can't believe the direction his life has taken. He's always known that he had a wolf inside him, but he never had the ability to shift until his sister, thinking she was helping, told Lord Korl about him. Inno was kidnapped, injected with a serum that activated his ability to shift, and almost turned him into a mutant, until Blake, a mutant himself, freed him with the promise to bring the formula to Silver, the Alpha for the Moon Pack. While fleeing, Inno is rescued by Mikel, a vampire, who heals him from his injuries. Mikel has never felt so strongly about anyone before, and is determined to protect Inno, even at the cost of his own life. Inno is stunned when his wolf takes control, stating that Mikel is his mate, changing their relationship forever. When they arrive at the Moon Pack, they learn that Silver and Anthony have gone to the Fae realm to rescue Anthony's father and no one has heard from them since. Things spin out of control when Jan, a friend of Mikel's, captures and returns Inno to Korl, forcing Blake to take sides and severing his ties with the mutants. Will the Moon Pack find Silver and Anthony again? Is there time for Inno and Mikel to explore their bond before the next crisis arrives?

This incredible story contains many subplots, continuing from earlier books that kept me riveted until the end. I felt horrible for Inno when it was revealed that his sister turned him in, even if she thought she was helping him. Betrayal in any form is hard, but when by a family member, it changes that relationship forever. Mikel is different from any vampire I have heard about before and I was fascinated by his healing abilities. Inno's confusion about his wolf's claim is understandable since it remained passive all his life. The growing feelings and innate trust between Inno and Mikel was beautiful as they explored their bond. The Moon Pack finds itself alone, without outside support and enemies on all sides, but they will not give up their alpha pair without a fight, pitting them against unknown forces.
