Peter learns exactly what trouble is when Justin arrives on his flashy motorcycle with his sassy, predatory attitude to Peter. Between conflicts with pack members and Justin keeping secrets, life for Peter and the pack will never be the same. Justin is secretly on the run after he stole an ancient object that his ex-boyfriend Tom plans to use to destroy all werekin, but will he succeed? Will Justin find a way to protect his family and mate before it is too late?

From the moment I was first introduced to Justin, I fell in love with his brash, in-your-face attitude, even when I knew that at the base of it was his determination to protect the people he loved. To everyone else Peter is the epitome of a strong alpha, but when Justin was attacked by Peter's beta, Justin brushed him aside and dealt with it like batting a fly out of the way. Peter's outrage and pride at the action was hysterical to experience as it unfolded. The use of magic and magical beings adds depth and mystery to the story. The growing love between Justin and Peter was beautiful. The fight for survival has just begun and I will be waiting for the next book in the Mixed Mates series.
