Abigail Cosslin is on the mend after a rocky marriage and divorce. She takes her friend's advice and goes to an exclusive resort that caters to the guests every need. She is immediately intrigued by two of the resort's owners, Zach Neville and Emmett Fallon. Things aren't what they seem and when Abigail finds out the truth, she is hurt. Will she accept the truth or run away just when she is falling in love.

Notorious Nephilim book one is an introduction to the newest series by Carolyn Rosewood. It's a fabulous beginning to what promises to be a must read series for me. We are treated to an explanation of the series and the interesting background of the fallen angels. Ms. Rosewood hits just the right balance between giving us just enough information and not overwhelming the story. One of the things I find fascinating about this series is that half of the books will be set in present time and the other half will be set at different points in history. In this book, we meet the first two of the twelve fallen ones.

The back-story for the heroine is revealed to us in a timely manner. For me, I like it when the author is clever enough to give us the information we need or want without bombarding us. I was tickled that the resort is set in an area so close to where I live. You just don't get many books set during the winter in such a northern state. It was a refreshing change. As we watched the heroes and heroine frolic in the snow and fall in love, I was struck by how good the descriptions were. All in all, I was happy to read yet another fabulous book by Ms. Rosewood. She always has a way of drawing me into the story and not letting go until it is done. I look forward to the next installment in this series.
