Summer Carter has been communicating for several months with a Dominant online who goes by the name of Master Z. While chatting with him, she wears a mask, and he keeps to the shadows. She's afraid to meet him in person as her own internal hang-ups create an insecurity she can't overcome.

Master Z, aka Xander Houston, has wanted to meet the lovely "Flutter" and turn their online relationship into something much more real. But his sweet submissive is skittish. He gives her an ultimatum and she bolts...only to take a vacation to the very area he suggested in a previous conversation. As soon as he sees her, he knows she's his submissive from online. They begin a delicious fling, full of romance and sizzling sex. What will she do once she realizes that the Xander in front of her and Master Z are one and the same?

There are several things I can always count on when reading a story by veteran author Bridget Midway. She's sure to pen a story with an exciting storyline, lush characters with internal conflict and a happily ever after sure to satisfy any romance reader. Carried Away is no exception. Summer, for her own reasons, is self-conscious about her body, and has a hard time believing Master Z could ever want her. But he proves to her many times throughout the tale that he's more than up for the task of loving her. Xander was a little thick in the communication department, which of course, showed his humanity. But it was truly a delight to read this couple's journey toward bliss. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
