Her Cowboy Stud
Trace's uncle Silas recently died, leaving Trace to manage his Houston estate. Macy met Silas on one of his airplane trips and for reasons unknown-maybe it was just to play matchmaker-Silas bequeathed a prize stud to her. When she shows up, Trace isn't quite sure what to make of her. Perhaps she's a gold digger. Who knows why his uncle gave this stranger one of his horses? But one look at her, he knows one thing: he wants her. Then she mentions some of her more kinky desires and the dominant in him roars to life. Things get hot and heavy between the two rather quickly, and as soon as she realizes Trace wants to make a monetary offer for the horse, she wonders if he's only seducing her for the horse...or is there more to this mutual attraction?
I have to say, the sex between studly cowboy Trace and city girl Macy is red hot. I was a little annoyed at how easy it was that they jumped to conclusions about each other. But as the story progressed, it was clear that their communication skills were a bit more honed. They did reach their HEA quickly and perhaps a part of that was Silas's doing. He'd written each of them lengthy letters describing the other so perhaps they felt they already knew the other. I just wish the reader could have seen a little more time elapse as they got to know each other beyond the bedroom. It was a good story, however, and I would certainly seek out other works by this author again. 4 Angels.
