Her Two Doms
Attorney and TV host Victoria West can't very well tell potential beaus that she'd like to be spanked. Taking a yearly BDSM cruise to indulge her fantasies with Master Devon is just what she looks forward to-so imagine her surprise when a substitute Dom, Master Gabriel, takes his place. Gabriel is not ready to capitulate to her long list of limits and demands, even if she is the paying customer. As frustrated as he is by her limit list and her apparent topping from the bottom to retain some semblance of control, he's intrigued and entranced by her feistiness and spirit. Regardless of his feelings, he takes her to levels she hadn't achieved in the past and finds himself wanting her beyond the stay of the cruise. The following day, to Victoria's shock, when she meets Master Gabriel again, Master Devon joins the scene. Then they give her a proposition that shakes her to her foundation.
Her Two Doms is a quick, sexy read of one woman's intention to have some of her sensual needs met. Yet, she learns that for the past five years the control she thought she was ceding to a Master-for-pay was still, for the most part, in her court. Master Gabriel tears down those walls, and how! He isn't about to let her tell him what she will and will not do, and sets out to prove to her that not only will he do all the things on her limit list, she'll beg for them. At first, I was curious as to how the author would have Gabriel push her limits without it being non-consent, but Gabriel shatters Victoria's defenses during their scene in one blistering segment after the next. While there were two Doms-Gabriel and Devon-during the latter part of the story, it did seem that Gabriel was the main character in this story, and Devon more of an afterthought. It did feel that the ending was a little abrupt. Possibilities between the three were mentioned and then the story ended, a little too quickly and too conveniently, with very little details. I'm hoping this means their story will continue in other stories or perhaps a sequel. Nonetheless, I do love this author's writing style and will continue to seek out future works for my reading entertainment. 4 Angels.
