Informed Consent
When Tara Calloway headed off to university, she kissed Joe Corbett...and hoped for a whole lot more. But she was a few years his junior and he didn't want to mess around with the boss's daughter. She continued to write him, until she got a letter back threatening if she ever came near him again, he'd take her and ravage her in any way he chose. Six years later, when her father asks her to seek him out for a business proposition, she isn't sure the reception she'll get when they're finally face-to-face. But she's willing to take the chance to be near the one man she's never forgotten and never ceased to want.

This story packs a serious wallop in fifty-three short pages! The molten heat between Tara and Joe is hotter than lava and sensually magnetic. I found myself turning on fans, reaching for ice water and breathing heavily. Joe's sexual threats are sigh-worthy and they clear turned on Tara as well. I enjoyed reading how this couple resolved their past history, all the while creating a new future as well. Informed Consent is a great summer read. I'll be sure to seek out works by author Susanna Stone again.
