Damian
Damian by Joyee Flynn is the fifth book in the Marius Brothers series.

Damian, the youngest of the Marius brothers, is forced to call his brothers for help. Darius went to a BDSM club to have his sexual needs fulfilled, but the situation got out of control and he was forced to kill to save his life. Damian's brothers take him to the compound where he agrees to have one of the compound nurses see to his injuries until he realizes that the nurse, Cyrus, is his mate. Damian is afraid that Cyrus will never accept his perverse sexual needs, but is swayed by Cyrus's desire to help him. What Damian doesn't understand is that his needs are perfect for what Cyrus wants in a mate and Cyrus tells him so at the first opportunity. Cyrus has been alone for centuries, since his family was killed, relying and trusting no one. Can Damian and Cyrus overcome their differences before the war with the demons explodes, the lines blur and new enemies come to light?

It is remarkable how Ms. Flynn has branched off into different series while maintaining the bridge keeping them tied together. Damian's fear of not being accepted by his family has isolated him, denying his family from knowing who he really is. It was wonderful how Cyrus accepted Damian and reveled in their common desires. Cyrus's being alone for so long made it difficult to express his feelings, but for Damian he was willing to fight for what he wanted. The plot twist was so unexpected and quick that it left me breathless waiting to see want would happen next. The love between the Marius family members was inspiring.
